  • PRODUCER

    Cathy is a Tony Award® winning producer who commissions, develops, produces and invests in all genres of plays and musicals.  To date, she has Produced in NY, London and Chicago; productions such as The Hills of California, Stereophonic and The Roommate to name a few.

    Cathy worked on Wall Street where she learned all essential aspects of building a business. Her tenure on the American Stock Exchange led her to spearhead the Institutional Brokerage Division of an International Trading Firm.  She founded an Events Company, Tobak-Dantchik Events and Promotions (TDE) with Suzanne Tobak. TDE was responsible for the majority of Opening Night Broadway Galas, the Tony Awards Ball, as well as Corporate and Non-Profit events.

    She is Co-Chair of The 52nd Street Project, a non-profit arts, education and mentoring organization dedicated to the young people (ages 9-18) who live in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of NYC.

  • PRODUCER

    In addition to being a Producer at Reade Street Productions, Ruth serves as a Senior Executive and Literary and Dramatic Rights Consultant and Advisor at International Literary Properties.

    Ruth has held positions as Managing Director of INKubator Enterprises, a multi-platform content creation company.  As a Studio Executive at USA Films, Ruth oversaw development of feature films. For Artists Management Group, founded by Michael Ovitz, Rick Yorn and Julie Yorn, Ruth served as the head of their New York office. Earlier in her career, Ruth worked for producers such as Scott Rudin, Arnold Kopelson and John Davis.  Ruth championed bestselling authors John Grisham, Caleb Carr and Adriana Trigiani early in their careers and she served as Executive Producer on the indie feature Humor Me starring Jemaine Clement and Elliott Gould and  the movie adaptation of the Judy Blume novel Tiger Eyes.  While a senior editor at Hyperion, Ruth edited the New York Times bestseller The Shift, by Tory Johnson.

  • CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Kelly has a long history in the performing arts as a director, choreographer, and dramaturge, spanning theatre, opera, dance, and film. He holds a law degree from Toronto’s York University and has been the Director of Creative Development for Toronto’s Mirvish Productions for the past 30 years. He is a past board member of The Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas and remains active in that organization.  He led the Theatre Arts Program at Canada’s prestigious International Centre for Arts and Creativity, The Banff Centre from 2008 to 2013 where he fostered a multidisciplinary approach to creation. 

    During his tenure, he commissioned, developed, and incubated new works in Drama, Dance and Musical Theatre from artists such as Aszure Barton, Hannah Moscovitch, Ricky Ian Gordon, Daniel McIvor, Colman Domingo, Jonathan Dove, Colleen Murphy, Kevin O’Day among many others, and hosted Sundance Institutes Theatre Lab in 2011.  Seasons at the O’Neill Centre as a dramaturge, development work with Junkyard Dog Productions, Bill Haber, MTC, The Old Vic (London) and others, multiple productions as a director at the Stratford and Shaw Festival, Mirvish Productions, The Shaftesbury Theatre (London), Plymouth Theatre Royal (UK), The Mela Theatre, Havana and Regional Theatres across Canada and the US in theatre and opera.  Proud member SDC.

  • CHIEF OF STAFF

    Jim oversees every aspect of Reade Street Productions.

    He founded and leads Sterling Foundation Management and has extensive business, management and philanthropic experience. Through his years as head of one of the nation’s largest private foundations and as Chairman of Sterling, Jim has acquired deep knowledge, valuable experience, tremendous problem-solving skills and sound judgement, which has earned him the reputation as a leading advisor in both the non-profit and for-profit worlds.
